Our journey began in 1986 with the establishment of Qodesh Engineering Services, Inc. in Baltimore, MD, now a predecessor firm under QPS, Inc. Operating as Qodesh CM and Qodesh Engineering, we offer structural engineering design, design-build services, and construction management. 
For more than thirty years, our expertise has flourished in the northeastern metropolitan areas, spanning from Virginia to New York. Our scope encompasses master planning, feasibility studies, and quality engineering, establishing us as one of the longest-operating minority-owned businesses in the civil and structural engineering design and construction industry.
In 2023, we ventured into Africa with DHA-East Africa Ltd., a subsidiary in Kenya, fostering sustainable development and bridging business opportunities between the USA and Africa. Our project portfolio spans institutions, government agencies, and private developers, prioritizing client trust and adherence to quality management standards, ensuring timely delivery and minimal change orders.
Our commitment to excellence is unwavering, emphasizing environmental stewardship and sustainable practices. As global citizens, we advocate for a greener world through responsible engineering. DHA-EA, a sustainable development consultancy, mirrors this ethos in Nairobi, tackling rural development and envisioning smart sustainable agricultural cities across the continent. Leveraging international experience and local knowledge, we deliver sustainable solutions, recognized as a member of the American Chambers Of Commerce-Kenya.

Our Name

QODESH, pronounced "ko'-desh," derives from Hebrew/Aramaic roots, signifying consecration, dedication, and holiness—set apart for God's glory.
A heart devoted to honoring God is the pathway to success. Apart from Him, we are incomplete and fall well below His standards.  It is this faith that propels and sustains us, regardless of circumstances.
